Die Bischofsversammlung der Russischen Orthodoxen Kirche (ROK) hat eine Kommission für Verhandlungen mit der abtrünnigen Ukrainischen Orthodoxen Kirche-Kiewer Patriarchat (UOK-KP) geschaffen. Die Bischöfe reagierten so auf einen Brief des Oberhaupts der UOK-KP, Patriarch Filaret (Denisenko), der an der Bischofsversammlung, die vom 29. November bis 2. Dezember 2017 in Moskau stattfand, verlesen wurde.
