Der Hl. Synod der Bulgarischen Orthodoxen Kirche hat an seiner Sitzung am 20. September 2021 einige wichtige Personalentscheidungen getroffen. Am Vorabend der „Sofia Pride“ hat der Hl. Synod der Bulgarischen Orthodoxen Kirche (BOK) seine Sorge über die Veranstaltung geäußert. Die diesjährige Parade fand am 12. Juni statt, seit 2008 wird sie jährlich von der LGBTQ-Bewegung in Bulgarien organisiert. In seiner Erklärung teilte der Hl. Synod mit, dass er mit „außerordentlicher Besorgnis” erfahren habe, dass die Gay-Parade in der Stadt der Allweisheit Gottes (Sofia) stattfinden werde, und appellierte, die Veranstaltung zu verhindern.

The Bulgaria state has again allocated significant funds for the restoration of churches and monasteries throughout the country. At its meeting yesterday, the Council of Ministers resolved to give about $2,155,000 (about 3.5 million lev) for repairs and construction on 9 churches, reports Dobrotoliubie. The Bulgarian government has allocated more than $1.5 million to repair, restore, and complete churches and monasteries throughout the country. Metropolit Amvrosij (Paraškevov) von Dorostol ist am 18. August an Covid-19 gestorben, wie der Hl. Synod der Bulgarischen Orthodoxen Kirche (BOK) am gleichen Tag bekannt gab. Der Metropolit war am 5.
